"浅葱鼠" (asagi-nezumi) is a gentle gray with blue-green tones from the Japanese traditional color system, created by mixing asagi-iro (#00a3af) with nezumi (gray). It was popular in the Edo period. Asagi-iro was a color favored by samurai, and various blue-green derivatives developed. Since gray (nezumi) was also popular among warriors, asagi-nezumi naturally emerged. It is described as a "color close to an overcast sky."
